I have such gratitude for the wisdom and vision of George Gate in growing Pointe Claire Swim Club, a place that nurtured beginners and offered coaching and training right through to the most elite levels of sport. George believed in educating coaches and, with the support of the City of Pointe Claire, provided facilities and support to athletes for every aspect of training. It was visionary. I will always remember fondly my days at Pointe Claire Swim Club. As I have aged, I have come to appreciate more each year how lucky I was to be a part of such a great swimming program, and I will forever be grateful to Pointe Claire Swim Club and the City of Pointe Claire.

Best and good luck!
